Slime Party Fundraiser a Success
The Frozen themed Slime Party at the WKP Kennedy Gallery experienced a great turnout last Friday. Children and their parents filtered in throughout the day, where a variety of activities were available. This included Pin the Nose on Olaf, colouring, hopscotch, ornament making, snowball wars and of course slime making. Accompanied by music from the original movie, it seems fun was had by all who attended.
As a public art gallery we’re so thankful for the endless support from people in the city, whether its by donations or attending our events throughout the year. As fundraisers, these events are imperative to the continuation of the gallery and our ongoing growth within the community. Having an overall positive turnout this year has made a big impact on the gallery, and we hope to continue that into the new year.
Our final event of 2019 will be our Winter Paint Night, led by instructor Heather Wallingford. Tickets for this are sold out, but don’t worry- keep an eye out for future paint nights to attend!
