Fun Had by All at Crafts and Crafts
Another month, another fun time at the WKP Kennedy Gallery. On October 24th, we hosted our first Crafts & Crafts night in the large gallery space. Attendees were able to enjoy amazing craft beer and delicious doughnuts, all while partaking in the many crafts and games available. Guests walked away with their own freshly painted pumpkins and unique buttons, after delighting in the wonderful live performances by Vanessa Tignanelli. Games of mega Jenga were played (with the final collapses doing their part to make us all jump!), and overall great times were had by those who attended.
We would like to thank Gateway City Brewery, Good Glaze and Pascoe for their participation in this event. It was amazing to see different businesses in North Bay come out and support us, which only reinforces the importance of collaboration within the community.
On a sadder note, the International Postcard Project exhibition will be closing early for the space to be used for the upcoming À la Croisée des Chemins exhibition by BRAVO. Due to repairs being made in the larger gallery, we will not be able to host the upcoming exhibition in the space and have decided to move it to the front gallery. Those who will be attending the 23rd Annual Hops and Vines Gala on Saturday will be among the last patrons to visit the International Postcard Project exhibition. After November 2nd, the show will be deinstalled to make way for À la Croisée des Chemins, which will have its opening reception on November 15th during the final Downtown Gallery Hop of the year. That’s also the date of the North Bay Film Festival. Make sure to take the time to experience the International Postcard Project exhibit before its gone for good!
