Sketch by the Shore July 22nd Drop-in Session

Jul222026

While the WKP Kennedy Gallery undergoes renovations this summer, we’re excited to continue bringing art into the community through Sketch by the Shore — a free outdoor drawing series celebrating North Bay’s beautiful waterfront and shoreline landscapes.

Enjoy summer on North Bay’s waterfront while developing your observational drawing skills in the great outdoors. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or a complete beginner, these guided sessions offer a unique opportunity to connect with nature, build confidence, and create alongside others in a supportive environment. This series focuses on the beauty and tranquility of the natural environment, inviting participants to slow down, observe, and respond to the landscape through drawing.

Led by local artist and instructor Claire Domitric, each session explores foundational drawing, skills in a relaxed and welcoming group setting. Participants are encouraged to interpret the landscape in their own way through drawing, painting or mixed media.

Open to all ages and skill levels — from complete beginners to experienced artists — these drop-in sessions are free to attend.
