General:
- Is the Capitol Centre a historical building?
- The Capitol Centre is a designated Heritage Building in North Bay, having opened in 1929. Historical artifacts are displayed throughout the building. Ask us for a free tour and learn a bit more about North Bay’s history.
Ticketing:
- What forms of payment are accepted at the Redpath Box Office?
- Cash, debit and all major credit cards.
- Do you offer group rates?
- For groups of 10 or more, receive a $5 discount per ticket to most Capitol Centre Presents performances. To receive discount, tickets must be purchased at the same time as part of a single transaction.
- I purchased a ticket to a now postponed, rescheduled, or cancelled performance. What are my options?
- Redemption options include-
1. Keep your tickets
2. Credit your ticket to a Gift Card which can be used for other shows in the future.
3. Donate the value of your ticket to the Capitol Centre in exchange for a charitable tax receipt - we appreciate your support.
4. Receive a full refund for your ticket. In order to receive a refund for a rescheduled show, your refund request must be received no later than one month prior to the rescheduled date. Refunds requested within 30 days of the rescheduled date will not be processed. This timeline has been established in order to allow time for other patrons to purchase tickets and enjoy the performance.

- Yes! Tickets will be honoured for the new performance date.

- Are refunds available for rescheduled or cancelled shows?
- Yes! Box Office staff have reached out to patrons who purchased tickets for shows that were rescheduled or cancelled to make arrangements already. If you are unable to make a rescheduled date and have not been contacted, please reach out by emailing boxoffice@capitolcentre.org or call 705-474-4747. Please note that our primary method of reaching out to patrons regarding show changes is through email. Please check your inbox!
Theatre / Concession:
- Is there a quiet room available?
- We have a quiet room off the balcony for nursing mothers or excited toddlers. Please ask a staff member or volunteer when at a performance.
- Is there a coat check available?
- We have a coat check at performances when warranted by weather.
- What forms of payment are accepted at concession?
- Cash, debit and all major credit cards.
- Are we able to bring drinks into the Betty Speers Theatre?
- Yes! All alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks purchased at the Capitol Centre can be brought into the theatre so you can enjoy a beverage throughout the performance.
