There is a municipal parking lot (Lot #3)
behind the Capitol Centre on McIntyre Street as well as one across from
City Hall on McIntyre Street (Lot #4). There is also a parking garage on
McIntyre Street and parallel parking on Main Street and McIntyre
Street. There are two other municipal parking lots behind the Oak Street
Transit Terminal (Lots # 10 & 13). Parking is free of charge after
6 p.m. on weekdays and on Saturdays and Sundays.
Food or drinks purchased elsewhere are not
permitted in the Capitol Centre; there is a concession bar with many
different options of snacks and drinks available. We also have a no
photography policy within the theatre, unless otherwise stated by the
performer or staff.
We generally accept cash, credit and debit in the Martini Lounge and at the Concession, unless otherwise stated.
The Capitol Centre is licensed in the theatre for all performances.
Children are permitted in the theatre for all
age-appropriate performances. The show will be designated with an age
rating for your information, so please check with the Box Office when

The Theatre Lobby will generally open an hour

allow you to take your seat otherwise normally you are able to stand at
the back of the main floor until such time. There are 2 monitors by the

The administrative offices are located on the
second floor of the Capitol Centre. The Galaxy Circle Lounge is our
rentable conference room, banquet and reception hall, also located on
the second floor of the Capitol Centre. You can access the second floor
from the staircase at the rear entrance to the building. Follow the
stars on the floor to find your way to the end of the hallway and the
entrance to the Galaxy Circle Lounge. You can also take the elevator up
from the main floor. Ask the Box Office if you require assistance with
the elevator or finding a specific office.
There is a Lost and Found located at the Box Office.
We have up to 18 wheelchair accessible seating locations within the theatre. Wheelchair accessible seating locations are held for anyone with accessibility issues until the morning of the performance at 10 a.m. when they will be released for sale to the general public. With ample advanced notice, we have the ability to remove seats in the event that a patron requires space for a mobile bed. There are railings in the theatre to assist patrons going down the stairs. If you use a cane or walker, you may keep it with you during the performance. There are also complimentary wheelchairs available if you require them – simply ask an usher and they will be happy to assist you.
There is wheelchair accessible parking
available adjacent to the building just outside the rear entrance in
North Bay Municipal Parking Lot # 3. There is a ramp leading from the
parking up to the rear entrance, and from there entrance into the
theatre in accessible. Should you need to visit the WKP Kennedy Gallery
or the Box Office, there is a ramp in the main corridor leading from the
theatre area to the front of the building. There is a single wheelchair
accessible washroom on the main floor in between the theatre and the
Box Office, as well as multiple accessible washrooms in the basement and
on the upper floor. You can access these other floors using our LULA
wheelchair accessible elevator, located in between the washroom and Box
Office on the main floor.
There are Assistive Listening Devices
available at the Box Office. A $5 deposit is required that you will get
back at the end of the performance from the Front of House Manager.
